We are laying the foundation for a future where every individual, family, and community has access to the care, services, and opportunities they need to thrive. This is not just a vision; it is a roadmap for holistic, sustainable change that will echo through generations.
We invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can make Vision 2030 a reality and witness the Kingdom of Eswatini transformed by the power of the gospel, the strength of unified communities, and the hope of a brighter future for all.
Vision 2030 is our bold and comprehensive strategic plan designed to establish an interdisciplinary network of social interventions throughout the Kingdom of Eswatini by the year 2030. It is an ambitious vision that seeks to disciple people, strengthen families, and empower communities to experience holistic transformation through the gospel, education, economic development, and family strengthening. At the heart of Vision 2030 is the development of a multidisciplinary national ministry team that will work in concert across the nation, leveraging our decades of experience to reach every corner of Eswatini with life-changing care and opportunities.
Over the next five years, Challenge Ministries is committed to achieving the following goals:
Complete 60 Rural Community Sites: Our target is to have 60 rural community sites established by 2030, ensuring that every family in Eswatini is within a five-mile radius of compassionate care and support.
Putting help within walking distance of every rural family and child in the nation
Relocate Children’s Homes for Effective Reunification: Moving our children’s homes to a location south of the capital city will enable greater efficiency in reunifying children with their biological families. We anticipate that this move will decrease the cost per child in our care home by 35%, and speed up the likelihood of successful reintegration by two to three years per child — in turn, allowing us to receive more placements from social welfare each year.
Cross-Departmental Integration: To maximize impact, we will ensure that our various ministry efforts work together seamlessly, with an emphasis on family restoration, education, discipleship, and community empowerment. Our goal is to increase cross-departmental collaboration by bringing our national teams together for monthly cross-department training in the capital city. This requires building out a national training center and will ensure that we continue to nurture the future leaders of the nation more cohesively and efficiently with impactful service delivery.

Sustainable Food Security and Economic Empowerment: Beyond emergency food distribution, we are committed to cultivating sustainable agricultural practices. We aim to increase the number of food-secure households in our care by 35%, helping families become more self-sufficient and resilient, and integrating grain buy-back programs to help families shift from being food insecure, to food-secure with marketable crops.
