Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) A new Minnesota Medical Assistance benefit to help people with disabilities, including mental illness and SUD, and seniors find and keep housing. Note: The HSS program will end Oct. 31, 2025.
Rent/Deposit/Utility Assistance Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) Administered by providers like Neighborhood House and American Indian Family Center. Available once in a 12-month period (up to $1500 as funds allow).

HouseCalls Program A homelessness prevention program providing direct financial assistance to prevent housing loss due to utility disconnection, eviction, or sanitation condemnation.

St. Paul Public Housing Waiting List Opening for 0/1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Bedroom Apartments. Online application starts July 21st.
Legal Support (Housing) HOME Line Provides free and low-cost legal, organizing, education, and advocacy services for tenants throughout Minnesota, including language-specific hotlines.
Housing Justice Center (HJC) Focuses on impact litigation for organizations and groups of low-income renters; generally does not take individual cases unless supporting systemic efforts.
