Overview

This article explains how money moves through SideShift from the brand side.

There are two separate steps in the payout flow:

Step 1: the brand funds the campaign

Before creators can be paid, the brand must load funds into SideShift using a supported payment method (ACH transfer or credit card).

Depending on the funding method, funds may appear quickly or may take some processing time before they are fully available.

Step 2: the brand processes funds to the creator

Once a creator has:

brands will process the funds into their SideShift account and the balance should land instantly, though in some cases it can take up to 48 hours.

Step 3: the creator withdraws funds from their SideShift balance

After funds reach the creator’s SideShift account, the creator can withdraw them using their saved payout method.

Most creator withdrawals arrive the same day, though some can take up to 5 business days depending on the payout method.

Important: creators are generally paid after the full contract is complete

On SideShift, creators are generally not paid per deliverable unless the contract explicitly says otherwise.
