For entry into the gym the following rules apply:
Children under 8
- During calm times of the day, it's permissible to bring in a stroller with a baby/child.
- The baby/child should stay in the stroller at all times.
- The baby/child can be picked up and handled by the parent.
- It’s never under any circumstances allowed on the bouldering matts.
- It’s never under any circumstances allowed in the gym/weight area.
Children under 13
If the adult has no prior climbing experience, the adult and a child (under 13 years) must take an introductory course with us before climbing independently.
- Our recommended age limit for children to climb is from 8 years.
- 12 years and younger can only climb with an accompanying (paying) adult.
The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the child at all times and will stay by their side their entire visit.
- One accompanying adult per child; for example, bringing in two children require two adults, and so on.
- Kids under the age of 13 are NOT allowed in the gym/weight training area.
Exceptions for above rules can be made for parents who have extensive prior climbing experience: in special cases 6 year olds are allowed to climb and one adult can supervise two children (if the children are 8 years or older).
Children under 16
- 13 years and older can climb without and accompanying adult.
- The age limit for using the gym/weight-lifting area is 16 years.
- The age limit for participating in studio classes (unless explicitiyl stated) is 16.
