Compost toilets

We use a compost toilet system which means it is a dry system where we mix humanure with saw dust and create healthy soil out of it.

How to use dry toilets?

1. Only poo in toilets.
2. Cover your poo with a good amount of saw dust.
3. Close the lid so that insects and animals cannot get in.

• Please do not pee in the compost toilet! (Why? ⬇️)

Out of our three common toilets buckets, everyday one is taken out and cleaned by our maintenance and cleaning lead. Do you have your own room with a private bathroom? You're responsible for your own bucket! Click here for the process.

Showers

We have 3 shared showers available for members & guests.

How to use showers?

1. Always use biodegradable products
2. Always turn the water off after use
3. Don’t leave your personal items in shared showers.
