Can you believe it is August already? It seems like the summer has flown by. Many children are heading back to school and families are beginning new rhythms.
Speaking of new things…Potter’s Wheel church has begun construction of a new children’s building. Please be in prayer for the safety of those workers doing the construction as well as prayer for the building to be finished on schedule. Please pray for the many children that will come and learn of Jesus and know Him better in this space.

Teams:
We are so grateful for your prayers for the Locust Grove student team that just visited Eswatini. They have returned home safely, and as you can see from this video, had an amazing trip!

Family Strengthening & Reunification team - Bubele Care: The staff is doing well and settling in after a marathon of case assessments. Please continue to pray for this team as they engage in furthering their skills training and begin assessments for future reunification cases and family evaluations & training.
Pastoral Care/Potter’s Wheel: Potter’s Wheel church has recently had a pastor and two other key volunteers/members pass away. All three deaths occurred over a 7-day period with no connection to each other. However, all three of the deceased were friends with each other, and congregants. There is a great deal of sadness and mourning at the church at this time. Some pastoral staff members are in need of care and counsel. Please pray for a time of healing and refreshing for the staff and members of Potter’s Wheel.
Praise and Prayer over ICBC’s: There have been 3 new wells completed at ICBCs with a plan for 5 more wells to be completed by the end of the year. We praise God for providing clean water for these communities. There is still a growing concern about the number of people in need of food. Please pray for God’s continual provision in feeding the people in the ICBC communities, and that we (in the U.S.) would be able to partner with more churches and businesses to pack rice meals and send them out.
Men’s and Women’s Centers: Pray for the students to stay resilient in their decision to walk away from life controlling habits and remain committed to the program. Please also pray for the the Lord’s covering on leadership of the centers. This is hard work, serving people who have experienced serious life trauma.
Financial Wisdom for Government & Families: Potter’s Wheel Church was honored to host the CEO of Crown Ministries and their team as they taught a session on biblical wisdom in finances to government leaders and families on August 6th. Please join us in praying that the Lord would use this event to inspire the nation’s leaders and families to operate with Godly principles in all areas of society, including financial stewardship.
